New Anxieties

Last week I called this man who's pretty massive in the music industry up here in Utah and who also grew up with my oldest brother. I'm supposed to meet with him / see his studio today at 4pm possibly. He told me to call him this morning to remind him but it only rang twice and I left a voicemail. I have borderline extreme anxiety about the event. Their website is here. After I looked through their gear and did some poking around and I felt intimidation as well. So in the shower this morning I realized that the butterflies and sickening anxiety wasn't going to help me, and that people like calm and natural-acting people - more than those who cut themselves down in the off-chance that people will hate their being there or what they have to offer. I have been talking aloud to myself to figure out what I want to say, and it just makes it worse. So I'm going to act like nothing huge is happening today even though I feel like I'm walking into the White House for a job interview.

New updates:
I made a new website for Venter's Stag Motel here, and I like it because it's really clean and spare.
I still have the VSM blog, and I post the more intense information there. I figure if someone is willing to check out the "blog" then they actually want some legit hordes of info, but if they're a tentative newcomer, I'll make it simple and clear with the main website.

There are some new songs on the SoundCloud since last I wrote here.. in fact I bet the entire SoundCloud account is a new thing since I last wrote.

I have a T-Shirt shop on Spreadshirt. I really like that website - you come up with the designs as PNGs or JPEGs whatever, and digitally design it on their website. When people want a shirt you "made", spreadshirt makes the shirt to order according to your most recently saved design for that product. So I don't have to pay a penny. It's free to make the store, easy to upload the designs and place them on a shirt, and drag them into my "store". Brilliant. I even bought some of the shirts and sweatshirts and I have to say they are legit and good quality.

My friend Micah found a ridiculously fun game online here.
